Steff Lee is an animation director and artist and
co-owner of indie animation studio Kino Bino. She
is passionate about using animation to educate
and improve accessibility of health and wellbeing
information for families and raising awareness of
mental health issues.
Part of the Creative UK Female Founders Alumni she
is a strong advocate for women in animation, driven
by a desire to make the industry more inclusive.
BAFTA nominated Bella Tomlinson is an experienced animation producer who worked for award-winning studio Hot Animation for 10 years - producing both 'Bob the Builder' and 'Pingu’. In 2020 she joined Kino Bino as their Producer.
‘Of all the Things’ is her first animated short. This production has offered her the opportunity to develop and provide opportunities for women entering the animation industry.
Maria Galliani Dyrvik grew up between the Norwegian fjords and the Italian Alps of Piemonte, and has worked across Norway, Italy and the UK. With a background in creative writing and directing, her animations and short documentaries have been screened at international festivals, including Interfilm Berlin, and Nordisk Panorama.
Maria was recently nominated for the Norwegian media prize for the web-doc series “Vi é Brann” she co-directed. With her projects she’s taken part in EsoDoc and Torino Film Lab TFL NXT, and been shortlisted for the Whickers Film & TV Awards.
Sarah Playford is a London-based composer creating emotive soundscapes across film, TV and short-form media. Her work spans dark experimental to neoclassical styles.
Credits include Barbeque (Channel 4 Random Acts), Sweet Like Lemons (Annecy, BAFTA longlist) and Strength (Peer Raben Award nominee, Trés Court winner). She has also scored My Other Suit Is Human (IFTA, OXIFF nominations).
Recent work includes SKY’s The Girl Who Caught A Killer and BBC’s Trump: The Criminal Conspiracy Case with BAFTA award winning directors

Through this project we have been able to provide unique creative opportunities for women in animation and film. Working across concept, story, design, animation and sound we’ve been able to give these women some of their first short film experience and a BFI credit.
